I knew when M started graduate school we would meet awesome people, but I never anticipated making great friends so early in the game! Charles was one of the first people I met at Vanderbilt, and Sara and I became acquainted just a few short days later. When these two hit it off, it made so much sense. Several double dates later and one year of business school on the books, they are some of our closest friends in Nashville.
That’s one of the reasons I was so excited to document these two in one of their favorite destinations in middle Tennessee: the town of Franklin!
Franklin is a picturesque community with great shopping, dining and entertainment attractions. We attended the town festival with S+C a few months ago, then came back to use Franklin as the backdrop of their couple shoot.
There is something about this session that reminds me of the movie The Notebook. I think it is Sara’s classic yellow dress, the small town setting, and the historic Franklin theater that makes an appearance in some of the shots.
Thanks again for a wonderful session, S+C! I’m so glad we were able to capture this time of your lives in one of the places you fell in love. Can’t wait for you to return from your fabulous summer internships, and start your second year of graduate school. So exciting!
