Hi friends!
I haven’t written about my personal life very much recently, but a lot of changes have occurred! Last October, Matthew and I got engaged. On a gorgeous spring day in May, we were wed in Nashville. If you’d like to see more pictures from our wonderful day, I’ve posted many on Instagram.
After an incredible honeymoon in Antigua, we moved from Nashville to Seattle, Washington for Matthew’s new job. We are now living in Kirkland, WA, enjoying newlywed life in the beautiful PNW! We could not have moved up here at a better time of year.
So, if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, or have asked yourself “Who is Katie McCall?” – now you’re all caught up. I look forward to sharing my photography from this beautiful place we now call home.
You may recall when we relocated from Austin to Nashville two years ago. I compiled some helpful FAQs then that I’d like to share again now. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email at hersideproject@gmail.com or tweet me @hersideproject!
FAQs:
1. Where will you be based?
The Greater Seattle Area, but I’ll always travel anywhere my camera takes me.
4. Dang it! I wanted to hire you for Christmas card photos.
I plan to visit Austin (and possibly Nashville) this fall on weekends to cover holiday photo shoot needs. More details are to come. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me about your family’s specific photo shoot requests.
4. Will you be doing photography in Seattle?
Absolutely! And, if you know anyone in the area, I’d appreciate your reference. It’s hard to be the new kid on the block.
5. Are you ever coming back?
As we’ve been telling family and friends, the plan is NOT to NOT come back to the South. That being said, I’m not sure where this next phase of life will lead. Rest assured I will visit often and am committed to travel wherever my clients need me to document their lives.
To my wonderful clients: Thank you for trusting me, believing in me, and bringing me into your lives time and time again. It’s meant more to me than you will ever know! I’m so very grateful.
